Just being curious

I couldn't help but notice that some of the flights now have been filed direct through lat/long coordinated instead of regular airports and it's a bit confusing. Isn't it trickier when the destination isn't an actual airport? I'm curious to see how you would handle this situation.

Yeah, filing flights with lat/long instead of airports can be confusing since youre heading to a point with no official airport or services . It makes things trickier because you don't have standard charts or ATC procedures. I'd handle it by planning carefully, relying on GPS and ofc staying in good communication with ATC to avoid surprises.

You really have to rely on GPS and make sure your charts and approach info cover that area plus, you've got to be extra clear with ATC about your intentions and position since there's no official "airport box" to refer to, it definitely takes more prep and situational awareness
